Telangana Arogya Mahila Scheme 2023 :- On March 8, 2023 on the occasion of Women’s day the government of Telangana has unveiled the latest scheme called The Arogya Mahila initiative of the Telangana government, is launched with the aim to provide health care facilities to all the women every Tuesday at government hospitals. Telangana government possess the budget of Rs. 1,161 crores in the year of 2023-24 for the Medical and Health department. Telangana Arogya Mahila Scheme Programme was introduced by the state Health minister T Harish Rao on the occasion of international women day. The programme was simultaneously launched in 100 hospitals.

The Telangana Arogya Mahila Scheme is launched by the government of Telangana for the women who are suffering from various kind of sickness and because of financial instability they cannot take care of their illness and often ignore treatment that are necessary. But now the government has introduced the women of Telangana can get treatments free of cost in government hospitals every Tuesday.
Objective of Telangana Arogya Mahila Scheme
The main objective of government behind launching this scheme is to provide health care facilities to all the women of all age groups of Telangana Arogya Mahila Scheme Over 11,120 women have availed health care services under this programme. Regular checkups will be provided and women will be referred to higher hospitals if they have a very serious illness. With the simple registration process women of the state can get benefits from this scheme.
