Objectives of RTE Telangana
Overall, the objectives of RTE Telangana revolve around ensuring universal access to quality education, promoting equity and inclusion, eliminating child labor, and empowering children from all backgrounds to realize their full potential through education. It strives to enroll and retain all children between the ages of 6 and 14 in schools.
Eligibility Criteria
- Children in JKG is should be between 2 years and 6 years old.
- Children in LKG should be between 3 years and 6 years old.
- Students family income should be between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1,00,000.
- Orphan children, transgender people, farmers children etc are eligible for this scheme.

RTE Telangana Admission Procedure
- Parents can go to nearby school that meet the RTE qouta.
- After choosing the suitable school, parents must sign in to the government website to complete the form.
- Take a print of few extra copies for references and verification.
- There are two ways to send application forms:
- The first option is to submit the application form online with the supporting document uploaded.
- The second is to visit the school and submit the application form and supporting documents there.
- The authorities will conduct a lottery-based selection and publish the results list for the students who have been chosen.
