The government of Karnataka has recently launched a new scheme called Karnataka Saptapadi Vivah Yojana 2023 or we can say mass marriage scheme in favour of couples who are willing to get married. Under this scheme financial assistance will be given to newly married couples. Karnataka state saptapadi marriage scheme or also known as Muzrai mass marriage aims to promote mass marriage in state of Karnataka. The beneficiary of this scheme are Hindu couples who belongs from Karnataka state. Under this scheme, government will offer Rs. 55,000/- to groom and bride. The Karnataka Saptapadi Vivah Yojana 2023 was initially introduced by the Karnataka government on January 10, 2020. This scheme is initiated by CM of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa. The government plans is to hold around 1,000 marriages in 90 to 100 temples. Couples who car willing to get married in next few days can take advantages from this scheme.

The main objective behind the launch of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor parents who lacks the availability of funds for the marriage of their children. And after marriage Rs. 55,000/- will be provided to the couples.
